Who We Are
We are an advisory and consulting group that assists physicians and physician groups who are employed by or captive to large hospitals and health systems. Our founders utilize their combined medical, business, and legal expertise to provide physicians with the options and leverage needed to restore independence.
In 2023, our founders worked to facilitate the exit of a prominent cardiology group in Orlando, Florida from a multi-billion-dollar health system. Utilizing private equity, a multi-office practice consisting of 30 doctors and almost 200 staff members was created in less than a year.
Out of that experience, Pendulum Physician Advisors was created to assist doctors in regaining their autonomy from administrators and to swing the pendulum back to independent physician medicine.
What We Do
We evaluate your physician group’s existing practice model, governance, compensation structure, and employment agreements. We then guide your physicians through negotiating with the current employer, while developing practice and financial opportunities to exit the hospital-controlled model and establish an independent private practice.
